PID Filtering – this feature enables the usage of selected audio tracks and subtitles (if available) to complement your video choice.

Random access – Streamron software supports streaming either from the beginning of the file or from any chosen point in the timeline.

Trick play – supports your basic VCR like functionality: pause, fast forward (2-64x), fast rewind (2-64x) and similar.

Input formats – Streamron accepts content packed in different container formats such as MPEG2 TS, MPEG4 part 14 (MP4), MPEG PS (VOB), MPEG Layer II (audio), MP3 (audio). The output stream is MPEG2 TS or MPEG4 TS, both utilized for optimized network usage and excellent enduser experience.

Subtitle trans-coding – Streamron performs transcoding of DVD subtitles (bit-map) into DVB subtitles during operation.

NVoD (Pay TV) – nVOD, a TV channel like stream is created from preloaded content via intuitive timetable functionality. nVOD can be administrated to play 24 hour/day or just for a few selected time periods. NVoD is mostly used for streaming service providers own TV channel.
